Enpass Password Manager App Reviews

Used to love this app, until I have run into Touch ID issues. App keeps crashing each time I try to use Touch ID. Please fix it. This is addition to the previous review: very inconsistent behavior, frequent crashes, long start up times when the app freezes and then either crashes or takes almost a minute to become responsive. Great idea - poor implementation.

Ive been looking for something like this for a long time. I store everything on EnPass now. Logins, software licenses, credit card info (great if your CC are lost/stolen and you have to call the 1-800 number) Word of caution: once you have everything entered, print it all out and store the printout in a safe or safety deposit box. If you forget your password, you are out. of. luck, as theres no password recovery system.

I simply love it, and now even more with touch id enabled and they make it a lot easier to add passwords across many if not all platforms, a feature that many other password management apps dont have available.

Used other apps like keypass but found this simple and more convenient. Great synchronization using iCloud.

Top quality app, yet it doesnt charge a monthly fee like all the other professional password manager apps do. Needs more icons to choose from/ability to search through the icons.

I have never had a problem with it, but it is now crashing. Please help.

This is one of the most supported apps Ive seen. Out of all the PW managers I chose Enpass (even after being given 3 years free of Intels PW manager). Lots of sync options to your favorite cloud based options. I also like that Touch ID is integrated into the app. Im running Enpass on all my devices now. Well worth the one time pro license fee.

Enpass continues to add new features and solid support. I find its password manager functions meet my needs and are competes well with much more well known password apps. Definitely recommend this app to anyone

Using 3D Touch on home screen to search or create new takes you to same screen. Wheres the short cut? Might as well log in regularly to search or create new. I was big fan of you guys (enpass), but this is really disappointing.

Ugh, I was saving my passwords in a password protected XL spreadsheet, I guess better than nothing, but come on, hardly gets the job done if I’m on mobile! It took me about a month of trying various PWM’s, asking for recommendations from friends was a joke, reading reviews online from computer websites that write reviews for ads wasn’t cutting it either. Anyhow, I tested quite a few of them and they all had some quirk or something I didn’t like. Enpass did not disappoint! I used the desktop on mac, installed it on Ubuntu, and paid the premium to activate it on my iPhone and iPad, MONEY WELL SPENT! I only wish I would have caught one of the 50% off discounts they run occasionally on Facebook. I know this is getting long, just one pro tip for you: make a master “item” record with login, email, password, URL, and whatever fields you use often, name it “A Dupe” the A will put it at the top of the list, then when you want to make a new record, right-click and select duplicate, then fill it out. On the app, select A Dupe then at the bottom there are 3 dots … click on that and select duplicate from the menu.

I live in the Unix universe and I searched for a manager I could use with both my iPhone and my Ubuntu box and have found it in Enpass. It is also the easiest to use and all functions tried so far work as advertised. The fingerprint access is also a great addition!

I like this app. It is very good for storing and saving passwords. Some things I would like to see is; First-the ability to open a page within a third party browser like google chrome. Second-if you open the app by accident, if you hit cancel with Touch ID enabled, the next time you open the app, you dont get the option for Touch ID, you have to enter the password. I would like it to still offer Touch ID the next time even if I hit cancel. Third-I would like to see the ability to sync with multiple cloud storage platforms. I have an iPhone, but I have a Windows computer at work with google drive. I would like to be able to sync to iCloud for my i-devices and sync to google drive for my work devices.

I use this app several times each day and it is an essential part of my phone. Honestly, I couldnt get by without this app. I would rate it 100 stars if I could. Enpass has everything I need in a password security app and I cant recommend it highly enough to everyone. Get this app, plain and simple.

User interface is clean and effective. It is easy to use, no custom template, but you can duplicate a record and change the contents or add custom fields. On recent updates you can remove or delete pre-defined fields or move and re-arrange them. If I could choose user icons (e.g. my bank logo from camera roll or web), other than just provided ones, it would be awesome. None of some small missing items keeps it from being a complete password app. The free desktop program is very useful and sync option with mobile app via Dropbox or iCloud is awesome. There are plenty of pre-defined templates, under different categories and you can fit most of your needs in them. Overall one of the best PW apps on the App Store, above the big names.

I enjoy this app and its utility, especially as I continue to acquire multiple accounts with varying passwords and information. I used to keep a chart on paper, but this is always with me. It gets the job done.

Enpass is my favorite. Whats more, you can install it on multiple platforms and devices and still pay next to nothing. Its quite apparent to me the Enpass developers care about their product because Enpass on Windows, as well as iOS, both receive regular updates. Its a great app that Ive been using for at least two years. Highly recommended.

Excellent App! I would like to have the Copy & Paste function in the Menu Bar / Edit, however.

In compare to other expensive apps this is so cheap and useful The way I can sync between my Mac and iPhone is just great thank you

Fantastic cross-platform password manager that does not force you into buying a subscription, but rather relies on your cloud service of choice: Onedrive, Dropbox, etc. It works great across all platforms and the developers make sure to implement the latest security features such as touch ID on iOS and Windows Hello on Windows 10. Highly recommended
